Post Christmas Glow

Dear Friends of Music on Norway Pond,

These days, good news feels especially sweet. Rather than just keep these to myself, I want to share some of the enthusiastic responses to our recent Christmas Concert. I guess we must be doing something right!

The cosmic needle got a fabulous nudge forward yesterday. Your ability to compassionately harness musical talent fills to overflowing the longing spirit of the audience. We are so blessed.

I was captivated like never before. A tangible Silence wove its arms around the whole thing.

Totally beautiful and the spirit of this one rang out far and wide.

My heart was full as I left the church. The true spirit of Christmas enveloped all of us.

You filled our hearts with Christmas joy and awe and our eyes with happy tears.

Everyone experienced every moment of the concert as something exquisitely special and moving.

What a wonderful thing you're doing in nurturing the musicians and groups who perform. It makes a difference when the audience is engaged. The artists felt that the audience was right with them. Music on Norway Pond deeply cares about the audience and infuses the concerts with joy and love.

Those kids love you and will do anything for you, and you are having them just soar in their hearts... how good they must feel to accomplish so much.

I can feel your heart reaching out to those singers and to the entire room and the world beyond. In this time of such turmoil you do bring peace, beauty, togetherness, hope and music to the world. What a gift!

We appreciate these comments and look forward to generating a few more at our next concert on February 16 at 4:00 p.m. The Norway Pond Festival Singers, along with professional soloists and instrumentalists, will present Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem and Benjamin Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb. We’ll remind you again next week!

 Warmly,
